FAMILY FILM FRIDAY

Description: Friday morning at the movies. Since we don’t have a movie theatre in town, this program has been very popular. We keep all movies at a PG or PG13 rating. Parents and grandparents bring their children and sit on their mats or blankets and eat popcorn we make. We bought a $30 popper and the patrons will bring a sack of kernels when needed

 

Specifics: Friday mornings at 10:30. I would rather have it in the afternoons but the meeting rooms are full.

 

Notes: You have to have a movie license or public performance rights to show the movies at the library

 

Experience with Program: We have had 15 – 30 people each Friday since we started. We are a small community and this is a good turn out.
